Mentors will be paired with a mentee for a six-week cycle. You are encouraged to meet virtually, for an hour, once a week.
A mentee is usually one of the less-experienced members of the community that has the opportunity to learn from a more experienced volunteer. Being mentored can help you to gain insights into a new industry, gain clarity on career aspirations and next steps and build a broader network.
As a mentee , you will derive the most from the relationship if you can clearly communicate your personal and professional goals to the mentor. We encourage you to actively listen to the mentor's advice and feedback, and implement it as much as possible. You'll become comfortable in letting your mentor know when you need help and asking questions as they arise.
We'll pair you with a mentor for a six-week cycle. You can join multiple cycles of mentorship, gaining insights from different mentors with varied backgrounds.
Over time, we hope that our mentees will become mentors, sharing their success with others as their careers progress. The mentoring programmes are an effective way to build out your professional network, whether you're the mentor or mentee in the relationship.
